Cookie bear
I need help with everything. I printed out the Cart Express users guide and the referance manual, have read it over and over but am not understanding any of it. All I want in my store as I have a website already made is to list my products and let the customers check mark the varieties they want. (is a cookie business) I have not a clue as to how to do this. When I type my flavors they do not come out as a list but rather as a sentence form. I just need help all the way through from how to put in the tabs like the ones on this page, about us, solutions ect. to how to put stuff in the boxes that have pictures and text in them. I need someone with patience please. Anyone up for to help me? Thanks ever so much

Cookie bear
Setting Up osCommercehttp://support.occhosting.com/setting_up_oscommerce.html What do you mean by back up? I have read the namual and the users guide also spent a lot of time and again this morning tyring to make sense out of the stuff that was posted to my question and am completely lost and not understanding any of it. I did check out all the links provided but still am not getting any of it. Is there a way that one can get templates? I did get a website done and used templates that helped but with this by scratch no templates I am not understanding the first thing to do even. It says saved succesfully... now what do I do? Thanks You're backing up your database OK, but it's the files that you are going to edit to change anything, layout wise, that you need to backup. (those files that came in the oscommerce zip file that you uploaded) before editing anything in them. Or if you used fantastico or a similar hosting system to install oscommerce manually, you'll need to download and make backup copies of the files that you will be editing. So that way, if you screw up - and the best most experienced web developers screw up... - you can just upload your backup copy and all is fixed again. Fail to backup at your peril...
