Adding Payment Modules

I'm trying to add a freepay module to my payment types, but I get the following errors on the payment module screen:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_get_free_charger() in C:\inetpub\vhosts\DOMAIN\httpdocs\oscommerce\includes\modules\payment\freecharger.php on line 25

 

What do I have to do - other than adding the module in the directory in order to make this work? Also - is there a tutorial for adding modules?? I've tried 2 different modules and get the same results.
