Okay this was my issue when i was new to OSC what you need to do is change your INDEX.HTML to OldINDEX.html, then your browser will find the index.php... I think this is what you are talking about let me know

Check to see if Gzip is set to "false".

I too have a blank page problem.

I have installed osCommerce on a Windows XP Pro SP2 machine with IIS 5, PHP 5 and MySQL 5. The installation appeared to go fine but I just get a blank page when I navigate directly to the catalog/index.php page (there are no .htm or .html files at all in my catalog folder). I cannot view any of the source of the index.php file from the browser but can get comments to appear if I insert them at the top of the index.php file e.g.:

<?php

print "debug 01";

// require('includes/application_top.php');

include('includes/application_top.php');

// the following cPath references come from application_top.php

$category_depth = 'top';

if (isset($cPath) && tep_not_null($cPath)) { ...

The "debug 01" message is displayed (also, when I view the source from the browser after inserting the print statement I can then only see the text printed i.e. "debug 01" ).

I am assuming there is some configuration value that I haven't set correctly and up to now I haven't changed any configuration files.

This is my first foray into osCommerce and I would greatly appreciate any help,

Thank you in advance.
