how to use html in languages/english/index.php

I would like to add somebasic links to the TEXT_MAINstatement of this file.Can it be done (simply) and how?

I understand HTML but am new to php. I know there are some other instances of links but I am unsure of how to put them in. It took me long enough to figure out that ...

I am just wanting simple links - I did figure out how to put an image inline, but can't find a reference for putting in a hyperlink.

I am looking for links not fonts? I am unsure what you were reading :-)

 

How do I put something like this in the TEXT_MAIN Area? I can get images to show I just want a sentence with a link in it?

OK, I musta been a dummy cuz I tried that earlier and I kept getting errors. I will have to double triple check the html I was using.

dummy me - I found my mistake - de de derrrrr! I deleted one of those pesky little ' marks. ;-)
