hi there can some one please help

 

i cant sort my account out. and i badly need help heres whats up with it.

 

1. if you join and then try to login it sometimes doesnt take you to the account page

but to an error page.

 

2. also it doesn't display the last order at the top next to the Previous Orders arrow.

 

3.if someone orders from me i dont receive an email or can the customer view the pervous ordered items as each time they click to view them it asks you to download account_history.php.

 

4. oh and when someone does order something you can usaually find it under Customers - orders well no its not there either. can someone please help

 

please any little bit of advice will do please :'(

[1] what page is it looking for?

[3a] admin -> config -> Send Extra Order Emails To -> your email addy

[3b] seems like it is asking for the file directly instead of through filenames.php. what version are you working with?

 

[4] well documented problem. let me guess... you are using paypal or 2co?

ive tried directing it straight to admin with no sucess

 

for no. 3a i really am a bit new to this and how do i go about putting extra email in what part of code do i do this in.

 

for 3b. i think it has something to do with my account_history.php page as even if i type in the full address it still asks to download the file.

as for 4 - i am using paypal but ive tried ordering using the cheque option or cash and i still don't receive a thing :(

3a ... go to domain.tld/catalog/admin and login. go to config, and then to Send Extra Order Emails To. point and click.

A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again.

 

CHMOD it to 644 or 755... whichever one it is not right now.

Hi, I found this topic really helpful.

 

But I'm still not getting emails for my orders.

 

I went to the configuration area and followed the directions.

 

It says

 

Send extra order emails to the following email addresses, in this format: Name 1 <email@address1>, Name 2 <email@address2>

 

And I'ved tried every version of that I can think of including these:

 

[email protected]

<[email protected]>

Orders <[email protected]>

 

I know that email account works and I tried using another email account instead. Nothing goes into junk mail filter either.

 

HELP! What am I doing wrong? I'm using v2.2.2.

Have you tried switching from sendmail to SMTP ?

 

Admin panel > configuration > e-mail Options > email transport method

I also have the problem that in orders_products the orders_id field is not generated... its always 0

the same applying to orders_totals !!!!

I think they are all related.

check config file for data base connection type.It should not be persistent.

My site is sending off emails for updates, newsletters, etc... so I know it's not a server issue.

 

However, I have tried every variation of email addresses for extra_order_emails and also changed the email type from sendmail to SMTP and nothing kicks off an email to the customer or the store owner.

 

Help please!
