Bots visiting non-existent pages in my website

Recommended Posts

Hi,

recently, i noticed a couple of googlebots crawling my site but they visit bogus/non-existent pages on my website.

e.g. http://www.mysite.com/-p-20.html (which will show products not found!) or

http://www.mysite.com/-m-17.html (which will show category not found!)

I have Chemo's Ultimate SEO URLs installed and the actual pages should be e.g. http://www.mysite.com/artsandcrafts-c-77.html

Any help? :(

Thanks

I would suggest to go through your products in the database and compare the name length with the minimum seo url setting for the short words. You must have some products that are below your current seo threshold.
