midge Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 Hi all, In order to upload OsCommerce to my yahoo server I had to delete the .htaccess files as the yahoo server will not allow file names starting with a period (.) or dash (-). I installed OsCommerce which went seemlessly and successfully connected to my database during install as it has updated my database with 46 tables. After install I renamed my install folder then tried to access my page and the admin page. On Both, my browser is telling me the following Unable to connect to database server!
