dLockers
Okay, so i'm new here, sorry if this is a neucance question, however; I am setting up a leather retailers fashion store, using osCommerce. I have set it up kind of, like small configurations such as store owner etc, and installed Paypal. Now, I am lost. I have no idea where to move now, how to get credit cards working, how to make new templates or get them from other websites and most of all how to implement the store into a web site i've already made? I want something seamless like this guy has going; http://www.FocuzPrinting.com How it asks him to register new user or login to a new account, rahter than what osCommerce does by default? Now I have around 3 weeks to complete this, so time isn't really a problem, it's just I would like to get it sorted as soon as possible as I only really have evenings to work. My msn is dLockers[at]Gmail.com if anybody could provide live assistance, that'd be sweet. Thanks for any help I receive, you guys run an awesome project! dLockers
So is there no way to create a site, and then just php include the bits of osCommerce I want? I'm very unsure as to what i'm doing, but i'm under the impression that it is possible. Thanks

Anything's possible, if you know enough php to be able to do it - but you can't expect people to write a site for you here - because that's what it would amount to doing. dLockers
Yes, I understand the amount of coding that would be required, it's just I expected there to be a huge amount of tutorials been as though this project is so huge. Thanks Edit::/ What kind of templates are available for a small fee? I'm not looking at extortion on Template Monster, more like ?30-?40 per template. ♥Vger
There are no decent templates available for a small fee. In fact you can pay a lot to someone like Template Monster and end up with a totally bugged template. At least the one you referenced doesn't seem to be coded too badly. If you are short on cash then you'll have to dive in and install STS (Simple Template System) available from the Contributions section, and then create an html overlay to modify the look of the site. dLockers
Okay, I bit the bullet and bought a perfume design layout, easily modifiable into a fashion store. Looks good so far, got the psd, fonts etc, for $170. I'm happy.
