usernamenone
How to put password to log in admin , now my admin is like open to everyone .... how to lock it ..?? Unfortunately the author of oscommerce did not add a password protect to your site, you have to do that you?re self. So back up everything and do one of the contribs. I used this one. http://www.oscommerce.com/community?contri...mp;category=all
♥Vger
The simplest, and most secure, way of protecting your 'admin' folder is this: 1. FTP to your website and rename your 'admin' folder to something unique (not admin2). 2. In admin/includes/configure.php change references to /admin/ to /newname/ 3. Go to your web hosting control panel and use the Password or Directory Protection feature to password protect the newly renamed admin folder.
