yosc
hello, I'm selling some products by weight (lets say, meat), and I'm trying to make the shopping cart to do a couple of things with these types of products: I would like to display both net price (per pound) and the gross package price calculated by weight. Is there a way to display both prices short of adding the per pound price to the product description? can the sorting / search etc, be done by the net price, but the sub-total calculation be based on the gross? is there a way to auto-update gross in the admin as a function of net x weight? Thanks for all ideas - I'd go with the simplest way to implement it for now. If that's not too easy to do in the general product listing, and I have to put the gross package price into the net price before adding taxes, is there a simple way to display the actual per pound net price in the featured / new products and specials, at least? jhsands
Have you tried searching the contribs for your answer? I'm not sure I know what you want, but try searching for "shipping" modules and see if you can find it. Hopefully someone will come along and help you more. BACKUP your current files before editing. Did I mention to BACKUP your current files, first? "I'm not a hero, I'm a firefighter; it is my job to save lives. I'm a Jesus Christ Firefighter saving souls from the flames!"
