Kool Breeze Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Please excuse my stupidity as i am still just getting my head around oscommerce, If can access the shoping cart and oscommerce site by www.mypage.co.uk/catalog but would like to be able to access it by www.mypage.co.uk without the /catalog. If i use a simple redirect page then I lose all my meta tag's etc. can anyone put me out of my misery. thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
spax Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Move everything that is in the catalog directory, into the root directory (where catalog is now). Then remove all references to catalog in your 2 configure.php files. Where you see just /catalog/ edit that so there is just a forward slash / Before you edit the configure files, you will need to temporarily change their permissions to 777. When you have edited them and uploaded, overwriting the originals, change permissions back to 644, 444 or whatever they are now. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
