njmowatt
Hi all - newbie here, I am trying to install oscommerce on a powermac G5 running MAC OS 10.4.7. I've gotten the installation to the point where I can bring up the install.php in my web browser. The screen shows two marked check boxes indicating "import catalog database" and "automatic configuration". the porblem is when I click the "continue" button - nothing happens!! The URL change to add a suffix (?step=2) to the existing URL, but the screen doesn't change. Can anybody tell me what I should be looking at to correct this problem? Thanks in advance, Naim

Thanks in advance, Naim Im having the same problem right now, what i was told but didn't work for my server is to go into your etc/php.ini and change long-arrays from OFF to ON, then reboot your server. I tried this but it did not work on my server Good luck!
floppy
I got the same error here. First I thought that I had made a mistake in one of the changed files from the register_globals_v1.4a patch, but it seems that the error is somewhere else... but where :/ Well JJ21, if the change of the long-arrays doesn't works for you, I think this won't work for me too (unfortunately I have to connect my host admin for changes in the php.ini and as long it is weekend I think I won't get a info from them...) btw: I use this versions: oscommerce-2.2ms2-051113 & register_globals_v1.4a
