YaBoi
Hello, Hope all is well. I am currently attempting to implement the Canada Post shippig module, however as this is the one without the package dimension I am wonderign if perhaps the mod is now outdated. Does anyone currently use a working version of this mod? Currently I recieve this error on my checkout page: An error occured with the canadapost shipping calculations. If you prefer to use canadapost as your shipping method, please contact the store owner. I know my settigns are correct, so I feel that Canada post is not recieving the required information in orde rot be able to calculate a shipping fee. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

dbl07
I use the UPS shipping as well as CP. I know the UPS module uses dimensions, but I don't think the CP one does. I think CP works off of weight. I would try e-mailing the author of the CP module..... I assume you've read the README.TXT and it doesn't say whether or not it uses dimensions. Yea, it doens't appear to use dimensions at all. Which I dont' understand how the module can work with Canada Post which requires the dimensions of box sizes in order to ship. thanks for your help dbl07
dbl07
If you don't specify dimensions for the UPS module it just assumes a standard density (I think 0.7 kg/m^3) and figures out the dimensions from that. Hence why it is better to add dimensionality to the calculation for UPS. Perhaps CP works the same. Quote Shaken! ... not stirred!
ping_ping
I have this module working. The rates aren't perfect, but they are close. Hi: Can you please tell me who your web hosting provider is? My hosting provider doesn't allow port 30000 to be opened, and this is driving me crazy as I really want to use CanadaPost as my shipping module. I have no other choice but to switch to another provider. Thanks.
