I purchased a Template from Template Tunning/ Template Monster. My Host uploaded it for me. I did manage to change the graphics that I wanted to and figure out some easy code, but when I went to change the title page code in the english.php I got an parse error message. I changed it back but the message is still there, and its not even pointing to the line that I changed! Not to mention that when I type in MiekeNatale.com its asking me to put in my index.html, I thought it was already there! How can I move the store from MiekeNatale.com/osc to MiekeNatale.com?

Its a mess, I am a mess, I have been trying to figure this all out for days, when I close my eyes I see code... my children are lost inside a mountain of laundry... and I am in way to deep! HELP!

Copy/move your files up one level to the root. Then you need to edit your two configure.php files removing /osc from the path defines.

Always put the \ before an apostrophe. But anyway, probably these lines? They should read:

look sto me like you are using the file manager to edit things and got an old version of osC with your template, where that part is buggy. There has been a secutity update months ago ... install it if I'm correct, you can easily test by looking if you find even one code snippets in your file.

I just purchased the template, should I ask for a refund? Seems to me that the company that I purchased it from should be up-to-date with its templates as to not provide a faulty product to its customers.

I just purchased the template, should I ask for a refund? Seems to me that the company that I purchased it from should be up-to-date with its templates as to not provide a faulty product to its customers.

And now the new dilema...

The shop is up and seems to be working, but when I try to add a product to the cart I get this...

I would not ask for a refund. I'm pretty sure none of their templates are up to date ;-). templates are not for newbies, TBH, even though they look like that.

The file I sent you is not for uploading. It for manual modification of a bunch of files ... both in admin and catalog. The only part you can omit is the mysql5 stuff if your database is still mysql4

as for the error message, have you edited english.php?

Look out for a last empty line in the file.
