sharplab
Our store is just starting to get orders and we our last 4 orders came through PayPal. All is OKAY BUT..... We have no idea what our customers are ordering when paying through PayPal. We also have no record of them in cart admin under: Customers>>Orders BUT..... We have find them when we seach for CUSTOMERS Okay so what to do? Obviously something is missign somewhere. Also we want to add the PayPal fee to our customers order when they choose this method. It this an UNWISE thing to do? The problem is our prices are so competitive that we only have a small markup on our top sellers. Any advice? THANKS! rabbitseffort
the first easy way to know what they ordered without asking them is to install master password, then log into their account--their basket will still have in it what they ordered. make sure at paypal you have the redirect page turned on in your profile settings and set to go to http://www:www.yoursite.com/checkout_process.php there are also other contributions you can install, but I have found the above works 99.999% of the time ps--I would not add in an extra fee--if you must make it part of the price then just increase the price, if they see an extra fee for using paypal they will say screw you "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer. --Ken Kesey"
