Gil_e_n
What does your password forgotten page do, then? By default, osCommerce sends you back to the login page with a message at the top: Success: A new password has been sent to your e-mail address. Is that message displaying, or would you just rather have your customers sent to an entirely new password sent page? Always BACK UP your files and your database before making any changes. Is that message displaying, or would you just rather have your customers sent to an entirely new password sent page? well the problem is that little green colored message your talking about doesn't appear! instead, i get this: Warning: session_write_close(): Your script possibly relies on a session side-effect which existed until PHP 4.2.3. Please be advised that the session extension does not consider global variables as a source of data, unless register_globals is enabled. You can disable this functionality and this warning by setting session.bug_compat_42 or session.bug_compat_warn to off, respectively. in /home/cust1/user1116323/html/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 151 some people have told me this is a bug that cant/hasn't been fixed... that can't be true can it? (and by the way... the code is says to comment out isn't in that file... i looked several times... and searched too...) my installed contribs: SPPC (seperate pricing per customer) CoolMenu Featured Products HPFCG (hide products from customer group) Sort product by model (in admin) On The Fly thumbnailer Did you get rid of the voices in your head? psg
Hello everyone, I'm having a similar problem. The "Success: A new password has been sent to your e-mail address." message is only displayed on the second attempt. Does anyone know why I don't get the confirmation message when the forgotten password is first sent? Many thanks, psg
