Golive help please

Hi shoot me down if you so wish but, I design only in formational sites at present but have 2 clients who want their sites changing to ecommerce based.

My question and possible problem is I use Golive CS on a Mac, i can code a bit and understand a little but i'm no code wizard. I am thinking it's going to be cheaper for the client and faster all round if i purchase an oscommerce template and adapt the colours and logo etc.

If i'm correct and this is the way to go where the heck do i start are any built with this in mind ie Golive editable. I'm not a dunce but something new is daunting until you've done it a few times.

The php pages and there are loads of them loose me as i'm used to looking at a graphical view. Linking to the cart from the exisitng page is obviously not a problem but i think for continuity and the most cost effective solution and easyof transition is the most important for the client.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

JohnK

BACKUP your current files before editing. Did I mention to BACKUP your current files, first?
