Onstar
Hi, when people visit my site they generally experience a message telling them "We are experiencing heavy traffic...try again later!" I thought that might be turning my customers away. I contacted my host and he said: "It may help if you make rules less strict. If you use mod_throttle and don't know how to set rules please ask your webmaster to do it for you. If it is not possible and you are not familiar with this mod you'd better to disable it." my question is, can anyone offer an opinion in support of this or against it? Should I enable or disable mod_throttle? 100% of everyone that has visited made no purchases. So, this is a big issue for the hardwork I have put to my store. Thanks. Jan Zonjee
Honestly, I don't know what that is. I was told it is a php file. There are things called search engines out there on the internet. I used one (it is called Google) and it appears to be an Apache mod: http://www.snert.com/Software/mod_throttle-2.11/
