Need help adding to cart and going directly to details

I am loving osCommerce and just about ready to really start testing my store. I have 2 probably very easy issues to work out though.

This is a product details page. What I need to do is on the image to the right of the flash video that plays, it links right now to the same details page. I want that image when clicked, to add that item to the cart. I am not a php wiz, I have figured a few things out, but don't have a clue what I would do to make that happen.

 

Second, on the nav bar where it says "browse by brands" I made a category for each video, then the item in the category. Not ideal, what I would like to do is just make items without categories, and have them show here (there are only 9 items), is there an easy way to that?
