Hi,

the shop in this pic has added more reference tables to classify groups of products within a category. It way have been done in a 1:1 section (using manufatcurers column as an example) or 1:n like categories.

Basically, the default osC categories box is used (I suspect by sports is the subcategories), adding in more selections between the main category display and subcategories. No contrib as this has been custom coded for sure and would have to be recreated.

Other than that, the stylish display is done with stylesheet formatting and + - images.

Does the case of the main categories change to uppercase when clicked? that can be done with stylesheets also. Very nice job whoever did this!!!

:-)

Hi Monika

This is not from a real website, its just an image given to me by a graphics designer who is looking to see if this can be achieved in osCommerce . It would be very nice indeed if this could be done easily .

Thanks for replying

Hi Martin,

yeah like I said, database would have to changed depending on needs and the new box customized manually ... tell your designer it CAN be done ;-)
