wolf99
I just finished installing the package, and the admin panel that automatically opens up was grand, I went and changed the perms and deleted install directory, now cannot find/access Admin Control panel. also changed perm on /catalog/includes/configure.php to 644 as directed because of warning at top of shop, but the warning is still there, the documentation say's to try 444 but I don't have this option in my cpanel list (ihave: 600, 644, 666, 700, 744, 755 and 777)
Jack_mcs
Look at your files with an ftp program to see if the admin directory is there. There should be a way to manually set them in CPanel. You will need to ask your host why you can't do that since they may have changed it. wolf99
OK I was able to change the perm on cofigure.php by CHMOD the file in my FTP client Still with the loss of Admin panel though, the admin directory is there, so is index.php in it, when I type in the address to my browser though I just get 404. (well I assume its 404, I just get redirected back to the hosts front page, I've not set my own 404 yet).
