joejoe04
Hi, Im going to be using the zipship module to charge my shipping. I knew there'd be a lot of zip codes in the US, but there is definitely more than I had imagined and its going to take forever to put them all in. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to just charge, for example, all the zip codes that start with 443 the same amount without having to input 44300 thru 44399. I had tried to put 443** into the zipship shipping module, but it came up as invalid. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas I would really appreciate it. Thanks. joejoe04
I would also be ok using a module that charges by state if someone knows of one. Thanks again.

joejoe04
I got the zones defined for states, but I'm still not sure how to use that to charge shipping by state. Which module do I use for that, zones or zipship? Or do I need to download some other one? Forgive my ignorance. Thanks for any help you can give me. Guest
you just need to install the shipping modules. You do have some installed right? So by default they should show up in checkout. The shipping amount will then be added to the total. The tax zones can be used to filter certain shipping modules for showing up. Each shipping module has options so look there for that. Has anyone come up with a workaround for the original issue that doesn't involve shipping by state? I've got a list of zipcodes, and I don't have the option of just dividing it up by state...and I really can't list a hundred thousand zip codes. Yes hello...I am the author of the zipship contrib and I guess this "wildcard" matching is turning into a necessary feature. I am beginning work a quick fix that will allow the use of a wildcard (probably the ubiquitous * character) for the module. Keep an eye on the module over the next couple of days... - mark

I need calculate the value of the shipment by the order total, but not by the order weight. If purchase order is smaller to $50.00, the shipping is $5.00, also if is $50,01 or greater, shipping is FREE. Thank you Big Y
