Many thanks to those who recently gave me feedback. I have acted on comments given and would appreciate if anyone has any further comments.

 

Also can anyone tell me how i remove the 'requests since' at the bottm of my index page which alot of people recommended ?

To remove the "requests since" go to catalog>includes>footer.php about mid way you will see the code for the date and request since. Simply comment out or delete this code.

 

Your store looks clean, a little wide but clean. I think if you shrink down your logo it would bring the page size back drastically.

 

I would also recomend adding the contact us enhancemente:

Also not saying you have to do this but your home page has /shop/ at the end of the url. You can make this simple change in the configure.php

 

I would also add a SSL logo for customers to see when they first get there.

Your low res images are distorted. This is most apparent in the Black and Chrome Electric Mill. Change one dimension to 0 in config and the thumbnails will display correctly, I believe.

 

The Cole and Mason Stainless Mills photos (as well as others) are misleading - you show a pair, but from the description, it seems like you are selling either the salt or the pepper mill. Some of the other individual ones, like the wooden pepper mill, are shown as singles in the photos. It seems like you are trying to trick the customer.

 

After looking through the categories, it seems like you have about 10 products. I would somehow expand the range of stuff. Seems way too limited to me.

 

You have some residual, bad graphics (like the guy in My Account) that really detract from a very nice, clean look. I would work to replace them with cleaner stuff (or eliminate them). Otherwise, the design and functionality (except for the previously mentioned stuff), is great.
