Credit Class - Gift Voucher (Quirky Error)

I installed this contribution about a year ago and all has been well as I have only mailed vouchers to people and have never use the "ENTER REDEEM CODE" option at checkout payment.

 

Now on to the error.

 

When I enter a valid redeem code I get the "Congratulations, you have redeemed " message at the top of the screen and "Coupon :$100.00" (for example) in the cart contents but the dollar amount isnt applied to the balance.

 

If I email a voucher to myself and redeem the code it works but if I create a discount coupon in admin it doesnt???

 

Very frustrating.

 

Any help will be appreciated.
