24hourcampfire
Hi Guys: I'm just installing my shop. I have products that have a LOT of selections for one attribute. I want these selections in alphabetical order, but try as I might, I can't figure out how to do it. So, how do I make the attributes in the pull-down menu be alphabetized? spax
They should list in the order you apply them. However, there are contributions that will sort them for you. Search the contributions section for product attributes. Here's one to get you going: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1822
Guest
I, personally, do have any product attribute related contributions added to my store (yet) and when I need my attributes listed in a sorted order, I have to enter them in the reverse order I want them to show. For example. Attributes: Apples, Bears, Cats, Dogs, Ears. I have to enter them in this order: Ears, Dogs, Cats, Bears, Apples. Then they will show in alpha order in the drop down menu (or radio buttons, whichever you have setup). Hope that helps in the meantime. BTW, the contribution suggested above, if I installed that now, how does it affect the hundreds of attributes I have already setup? Does it fix them also?
