Guest
Hi All Bear with me as new to this. I was adding a new product to my site last night got to the stage where I pressed update and from that time on I can no longer view my website from my own computer but can see it on someone elses computer. My web browser error message is Cannot find server or DNS Error Internet Explorer Now I know it is not a server error as the webpage can be displayed on other pc at different locations plus I can surf the web with no problem.. If any one has the slightest idea what the problem is I would be gratefull Regards Liam
♥Vger
Maybe the ip address provided your Internet Service Provider has been banned from accessing the server? To find out if this is the case then go to http://www.whatismyip.com, which will show you your ip address and then ask your hosting company if that ip address has been blocked by the server firewall. Usual causes of this happening are: trying to login to password protected areas too many times using the wrong login details, trying to access ftp too many times using the wrong details, havingg too many ftp or smtp connections open at the same time (so the server thinks it's under attack).
