yamawho
Hi all, first post here. I signed up with lunar pages but haven't started anything yet. I need it to operate in french but the admin feature I would like in english. I found the french contribution and the instructions are in a readme but I am a real noob ... Would it be better to go in and change the headings to french myself ? Is there a guide somwehere I should read before proceeding ? Lunar Pages has oscommerce available as part of there package. Is there a difference from doing the install as in the quick guide ? Any help would be most welcome
Jack_mcs
Most hosts that offer the auto install of oscommerce will not have the latest set of files. So if you install it that way, when you are done, you should install the security update package (or just use the latest version). Just be sure not to overwrite your configure files. As for the French contributions, there should be instructions included with it. yamawho
I assume that any files that are uploaded to the host must be done via FTP. Is it just a matter of copying newer files and overwriting the older ones ?
Jack_mcs
Usually not. Each one comes with instructions though.
