Simple way of removing Address and Phone numbers when creating an account?

Since my site will be dealing with softgoods only, can anyone tell me the easiest method of removing create account features that i do not want, such as telephone number and address details?

I would also like to remove the address book option (that members see when they login), so basically I want to completely remove address and telephone options
