In admin section (control Panel) into configuration there is a link called logging. I want to determine the log destination. Do i have to create a folder named log for example and if i do so the file in that folder what extension must the have .php .htm Could you please help me? Jack_mcs Posted August 4, 2006 Share Posted August 4, 2006 The log file is used for troubleshooting problems with your site. You should set up the path so that it points to some directory in your shop, usually the tmp directory, although it can be located elsewhere and named what you want. The important thing is to not use the shared server tmp file, if you are on a shared server, since data may get mixed. The name of the file doesn't matter. The extension is generallu .log.
