Help needed with phpbb contrib redeclare error

Please if there's anybody out there who has managed to implement the phpbb2 contrib and is still alive help me out with some advice.

 

I have been reading the related threads for about a week. I tried all those little fixes but I still have a serious problem.

 

Since I have this mod on I can not sign in. I can start a new account but only if I click on the create a new account from the index page. Otherwise every link that should take me to login.php returns this error:

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /pub/theatrewa/top-coach.cz/web/www/members/includes/functions/database.php:13) in /pub/theatrewa/top-coach.cz/web/www/members/includes/functions/database.php on line 25

 

I was changing some stuff from the posts. Before I could go to the login page but I could never log in. Always returned an error that the password or e-mail doesn't match.

 

When I newly sign up I can write in the forums and update my profile, shop works all right until I log out. I can never log back in again.

 

If I'm trying to post not logged in after submitting the post it writes:

Hi,

I fixed the redeclare problem. It was the funny file in the languages folder just like it's said in the trips and trick.

 

However I still can't log in. It doesn't give the no password match warning, only the login page keeps coming back. The sign up and forgot password works.

 

Does anybody have an idea?
