squigglybee
I get this message: Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /catalog/includes/configure.php. I read in the documentation to change the permissions to 644. I did that, and still got the error message. I tried changing the permissions to 444 like the documentation suggests, and I'm still getting the warning message. Is there something else I should be doing in addition to changing the file permissions?
kgt
Double check that you've actually changed the permissions. Use your host's file manager to do it. If you're convinced the settings are 444, then see this thread: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...=165080&hl= Contributions Discount Coupon Codes Donations
metafizx
I get this message: Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /catalog/includes/configure.php. I'm on a windows server, but had the same message. I finally made the configure.php file "READ ONLY" and that worked. on Linux, if 444 didnt work, then maybe its a bug ??!!
