jhande
Ok, I must of missed something somewhere... But I thought on the first opening page that says "What's New Here?" is supposed to show new items. I searched in the admin panel and can't find any settings for it. Am I assuming wrong that it should happen automatically? If not, how do I add the info? I added one item to my site (still playing with it) and the page is blank. :( Hande's Hobbies.com/catalog/ NOTE: I don't see any reference to products_new.php in my header.php, index.php, etc... :o I wouldn't know how to add it either. Wonder if my install worked properly then? - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
Guest
You should check 2 files catalog/index.php catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php If you want to see the default osc index.php you can always download it http://www.oscommerce.com/solutions/downloads backup your existing files and replace the 2 above with the default ones. For new items osc simply displays all products with the last modified date as the order. I believe is the catalog\index.php with your store not using the new products module the reason for this problem.
