cgmc_webmaster Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 (edited) I need a way to add a "convenience fee" to a product's attributes, and add that to the subtotal for an item in the shopping cart, regardless of the qty of the item being purchased. Example: 1) Customer selects 3 tickets for an event and adds that to their shopping cart. 2) I need to be able to charge a single fee for all these items, rather than a fee per item, i.e. $3 U.S. "convenience fee" for mailing all the tickets. The Payment Surcharge and Shipping Surcharge contributions don't offer this as a capability. Does anyone have any idea how this could be accomplished - I'd be happy to work with you to create a contribution that does what I'm looking for, but I'm new to creating contributions and my store is customized a lot to begin with, so it's tough to tell what's my code and what's the original code.
