KPGroup Posted August 2, 2006 Share Posted August 2, 2006 Hello, I installed OSC recently along with a free sample template from templatemonster.com and everything went fairly smoothly. When I go to Admin>Configuration>My Store I see the listings (Store Name, Store Owner, E-mail address,...etc...). The problem is that each item is listed 8 times. I have "Store Name" listed 8 times, and same for all the other listings. I have the same situation in the other submenus of "Configuration" i.e. Min Value, Max Value,... Does anybody know what is the cause of these repeated listings? And how to solve this problem? Worst case scenario, how to delete these items? Thank you in advance. Karim. Guest Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 It is in the database, look in the configuration table, there is more than one page. You should have about 5 pages with 30 rows or (142 rows total) for the normal store. If you have more than this then there is an error in the sql dump that you uploaded or you have been hacked. the best way to fix it is to upload the original oscommerce.sql file that is found in the install directory of OSC. (not the templet you downloaded) The templet will still work because all that you are changing is the db tables. KPGroup Posted August 3, 2006 Author Share Posted August 3, 2006 Thanks a lot guys! I re-checked my configuration table in the db. There were the 142 rows repeated 8 times (total of 1136 rows).
