Adding a Link how do I do it

Hope this isn't a silly question, but I am new to all of this and don't really have a clue what to do..

I would like to add a Link to my site.. can anyone give me instructions please and thankyou :rolleyes: .. Peace..

I'm pretty sure this is in the OSC documentation. Do you download the pdf?

the link to your online store will be at www.yourdomainname.com/catalog (by default)

 

some osc's want you to install into /store but you should remember what /folder you just installed to

Hi Ted and Tim.. thank you so much for your help... I will try and figure it out ... someone else did my site for me.. so I didn't do any of the downloading etc... I am therefore kinda working in the dark... I have sent my guy a couple of emails, but he hasn't replied.. thanks again.. email addy is serenityonline.ca

You cannot just hardcode a simple <a> tag in there or OSC will lose the session ID tied to the user. Sessions are how OSC tracks where you are on teh site, what you have in your cart etc.

 

Look at how other links on your store are added (such as those in the Information box for example) and just copy that.
