FTP catalog to database folder?

Hello,

 

I created an empty database at www.mydomain.com/ADMIN

 

Now when I ftp the catalog files to my server, do I ftp to

 

www.mydomain.com/ssl/HERE

 

or

 

www.mydomain.com/ADMIN

 

 

 

Please help me. Thanks in advance! :)

You FTP to the folder level of your website which contains all of your website files. It can be called different things on different servers, so look for one called something like httpdocs, htdocs, public_html, or just html.

 

If you want the osCommerce site to be available at http://www.yourdomain.com then upload the contents of the catalog folder, but not the folder itself. If you want it to be available at http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog then upload the folder and all its contents.

ok new problem, i just did the install, but i can't log into admins or the site..

 

http://www.domainhere.com/ssl/index.php gets me a blank page thats redirected to

 

https://s.p9.hostingprod.com/@www.domainher...m/ssl/index.php

 

Can you help me figure out what the problem is? Thanks! :)

 

 

Also, I can't log into my admin either.. domain.com/ssl/admin.php won't let me log in, keeps saying wrong username or password and I still have the window up that verifies that information after install, so I know the information is right..

 

 

PS I uploaded contents to domain.com/ssl/

also i noticed

 

#install_6_pass.php# did not transfer over during ftp, does that have anything to do with it.

 

its part of the install/templates/pages directory
