briankoz
Hello, I am trying to accept credit cards (with paypal's website pro) on my website. I was wondering if there was a way to have the credit card info all on my webpage layout/design instead of the generic shopping one? I'm only having a few products for sale and they can all be digitally downloaded, and I realize that due to my limited knowledge in shopping carts and what not, it would probably take me a long time to do this. So I was wondering if anyone out who knows a lot more here would be willing to set this all up if I provided pictures, pricing info, etc. for a nominal fee? I'm guessing because I only have 4 products that it should be relatively easy. It would also be REALLY nice to have the area where you enter your credit card info on one of my main pages. If you know if this can be done, or if you're interested in helping me out, e-mail me at [email protected]. Thanks! Brian
♥Vger
for a nominal fee Not likely to inspire anyone. I'm guessing because I only have 4 products that it should be relatively easy Sorry, but you guessed wrong - it's the setting up of the site and not the number of products that takes the time - and PayPal WPP is a major modification. Hopefully you are at least resident in the USA, because I've lost count of the number of people who installed Pay Pal WPP without realising it can only be used within the USA - and without realising that it is a separate service with a monthly fee attached to using it. briankoz
It's really hard to integrate? I got a download off of this site that apparently is suppose to do it for me. And I have my store up for the most part -- I'm mainly concerned about making the front page of it look better ... or trying to get the checkout to actually take place on my normal website template. Are there any other recommended ways to accept credit cards? I thought Paypal Website Pro was one of the cheapest at $20 a month. Thanks for your help! ♥Vger
How about just Pay Pal, no monthly fee, just the transaction charges. Vger
briankoz
How about just Pay Pal, no monthly fee, just the transaction charges. Vger I actually already have paypal as an option (without OSCommerce), but the whole reason why I added OSCommerce and wanted to try the Paypal Website Pro was to get more customers who only want to use a credit card and who don't want to sign up for Paypal. I heard that business can more than double sometimes when you offer credit cards. Any ideas? Thanks, Brian [email protected]
