acewagner
My site is about ready to go and i am in the midst of trying to find a fulfillment company in America who is likely to work with me and my prospective low volume start up. Does anybody out there have any fulfillment service they work with that are prone to working with start ups? My problem is that of all the companies i have contacted over the last week have either not returned my email or after seeking further information from me have decided i am too insignificant. I am sure i would get better responses from these companies if i was to tell them that I would immediately be shipping thousands of units per month. Because i am just about to get started my projected volume at debut is likely to be around 20 or 30 units per month. With time that will grow, but i am not sure if the companies out there like the idea of waiting around months and months before my volume gets sufficient enough to be interested in working with me. Unfortunately self shipping isn't an option for me at the moment.
mpiscopo
I've read that UPS offers this service for small businesses. You may want to contact them.
hubcat
If your items are light weight and/or small (so they fit in the fixed-price packages), USPS is not a bad alternative. They give you free packing and you can print and pay postage from any computer. I found that unless I had at least 100 orders a month (not there yet), USPS was competitively priced with UPS. Good luck, Adrienne
