A master password contrib question

Recommended Posts

I've installed the master password contrib and I have a question........it says

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...master+password

(a) completing checkout if a customer did not return to your site from the payment processor,

I installed it because I had a customer pay for an order through paypal but the order didn't show up in my admin section. I've now installed PAY IPN to hopefully not have this happen again. I want to make an invoice for this customers order.

How do I complete the checkout, I just don't want to make any mistakes and just want this to be perfect!

Nigel,

How did you get passed running the SQL statement? I copy/paste the statement into myphpadmin and I get the following error:

#1062 - Duplicate entry '188' for key 1

What do I do ??

EDITED - sorry, forgot to attempt to answer your question .... just log into your customer's account with their email addy and your master password ... and complete the order .... it should give you some indication as to what to do ... perhaps click on "Complete/Finish" progress part of the bar ... to get to the Your order has been process (checkout_success.php) page.

Log on with the customers email and your master pw. Confirm the cart items match the paypal payment you received (and it should). Finish the Checkout as a "check/money moneyorder" transaction.

The order will reflect a cash/mo payment, but just update the order with a "payment received via paypal, thanks" and life is good.

Great thanks for the help on this one......what I did was install the password contrib (which by the way rocks) and then enabled COD in my admin section. Next just loged into the custombers accnt and choose pay COD....worked great.

Sorry not too sure about the SQL thing.
