Before you do any changes on your site you need to do BACKUP! BACKUP!

when you click on Continue the screen does not move to next step, the screen is the same page as before click on Continue.

I was having the same problem (http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=220702)

Contact your server admin to have register_long_arrays set to on. My server admin did this for me, so I can't tell you how it's done. For further information, do a search on +register_long_arrays +php.ini

HTH.

I have been having the same problem and have set the register globals and register long arrays to on. But I still can't get past step 2 on the install. I have installed osc on several other servers without a problem.

I am running PHP5.1.1 on the new server could this be the problem?

Anyone running osc on php5 or up?

Backup before making changes. Backup before making changes! Backup before making changes!!

You did do a backup? eh?

I'm using 5.1.1 locally...but I installed it manually. It works ok.
