Guest
I am looking for an easy way to add new pages to our OSC store and I am pulling my hair out. I have followed burts suggestion at - http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=31019 I created a new page called security.php by following this advice, but the new page security.php pulls in all of the data on the condtions.php page despite what I edit using Admin > Tools > Define Languages > security.php I am ready to pull my hair out, I need like 2 or 3 custom pages to comply with our new payment processors terms and I am wasting time with these methods. Can somebody tell me where I'm going wrong or can you show me a really simple way to add pages to OSC 2.2 quickly. Thanks in advance.
Gil_e_n
First off: Never, ever use the admin tools to edit your page. They tend to cause errors, and also represent a security risk should anyone ever get into your admin section. I, personally, just uninstall them. Use a decent FTP program and PHP editor instead. Secondly, could you post the code of your new page? Always BACK UP your files and your database before making any changes. Before asking questions, check out the Knowledge Base.
