janice171 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Hi, My site is no longer functioning correctly. Basically when i go through and place an order, hit 'confirm order', the checkout_process' page does not appear. This happens on the 'money order/cheque' option and with paypal ipn i place an order, go through to the first page in paypal and if i hit the browsers back button without making a payment the order still registers in admin!!! Can anyone help with this? Thanks Janice

It's pure php that just updates the database, sends the customer email, and sends the cc number to your payment gateway if you use one. Do you mean checkout_success? Also, I'm not sure because I don't use paypal, but I'm guessing paypal IPN does that deliberately because it seems better than the order not registring in the admin. Is it that hard to compare the orders with the payment before shipping? Always BACK UP your files and your database before making any changes. Before asking questions, check out the Knowledge Base. Basically i get a '404' once i've pressed confirm order on the 'checkout_confirmation.php' page....on a 'money order/cheque' payment. The 404 url is the 'checkout_process.php' page. Do you know why this is happening? would it help for you to see any code from a specific page? Thanks for any help j
rabbitseffort Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 what shows in the url addy when you hit confirm? and, this is obvious I know, but have you checked that the page checkout_success.php is in your server side files? maybe it somehow got deleted, but checkout_process is there obviously if your orders are being stored.
