Gil_e_n
Known problem with the default Paypal payment module: Unless they click back to your site at the end of Paypal, the order isn't completed on your site. Solution: Install a better Paypal module. Always BACK UP your files and your database before making any changes. Before asking questions, check out the Knowledge Base. Check out the contributions to see if your problem's solved there. Search the forums. biggernickel
You're kidding me??? So what is the exact solution.........now I have to email the customer and ask them what their order is, this is BS. Nigelman :D I am going thru the same thing with 2 CO, I have recieved email notification from 2CO about two payments to my account, but nothing in the order process. I have sent three test orders thru and all have gone thru perfect. Have had to email the customer ( very professional) to get the products they had ordered. Still trying to figure it out, will let you know.
Guest
You can also install the Master Password contribution - so you can go into your customer's cart to see what's in there. Make sure, in your PayPal account, that you have the return to website url set. Make notes on your checkout pages (professionally) reminding your customers they need to return to your site in order to complete the checkout process. Also, I believe the PayPal IPN contribution helps to take care of these situations. This has been covered at least 1-2 times a day here in General Support - the search function works well. (sorry for my ranting, but this topic is well over done).
Tsuri Japan
Also, I believe the PayPal IPN contribution helps to take care of these situations. Do you know exactly what IPN contrib we should install and what exactly is IPN? Thans for the password contrib will try to use that now for a short term fix. Nigelman :)
