garrone
My new site La Compagnia del Cavatappi sells wines and italian food. What do you think? Giovanni Putignano
kzod
I have my screen set to the highest resolution but all I see on "top of the fold" without scrolling is text and a picture of the globe. A little promo here is good, but would be better served with a (more info) link and then get down to the business of presenting your products and what makes them so much better than what people can typically procure locally. Other than that the basic layout is clean, and easy to navigate. My only other concern would be the placing of the search box at the bottom of the page and the top placement of the visa/mc logo. Just flip them and you'll be great.
tastar
I agree with the former poster - search at the top, paypal at the bottom. It's a really nice site- please forward a hunk of meat in exchange for this review! The products look really tasty. One thing that I didn't like was the click to enlarge - you aren't selling exclusive diamonds - even though you are offering quality products, the effect of the click to enlarge is pretentious. Depending on where you come from on the site (like from new products) the effect sometimes doesn't work. And when it doesn't, the plain pop-up image looks better. No fancy footwork, no ghosted background, no 4 step presentation. Just a nice shot of some good food or drink. It's obvious that you put a lot of work into the site - you have done a very good job with contributions, the design is pleasing and very functional (lots of ways to find stuff, manufacturer's descriptions, incentives to register and buy, etc, etc.). And, your product mix seems to be great. Like the previous poster mentioned, make a couple of minor changes and you are good to go. How long have you been live and how well are you doing with it?
