Paypal Pro

We recently were approved for a PayPal pro account. We are now trying to integrated it into our website and we are having trouble. We are trying to follow PayPal's instructions to load it onto our site but it just doesn't seem to be working. If I go to my OSC control panel and look at my payment modules I already have one installed called PayPal Pro. Do I need to install the files that Paypal gives me? The file I am talking about is the zip file called "paypal_php_sdk_v4_2_0.tar.gz". I have tried installing the files according to PayPal's instructions and it won't FTP to my server. All of the FTP info is correct, address, username and password. I set up files on my server to accept the PayPal files like it says to do and set them as the install target.

If I don't need to install those files, then what do I do. I have my API username and password. My API certificate path is correct. A couple things I'm not sure of on my settings is the PayPal BN, IPN Notification URL and the cURL Path. These are all settings in my PayPal Website Payments Pro Module.

There is also another PayPal module that PayPal says that you have to use in conjunction with PayPal Pro, which is PayPal Express Payments. I also have this installed in my OSC control panel. It too has spots for API username and password, should these be the same as my PayPal Pro module?

I know I need a lot of help but if anybody could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. We have been working to get this website live for a while now and this is the absolute last step we need to take in order to start doing business so we really, really want to get this done. Thank you for your time and any help you can provide.
