Easy Populate - Editing Products, But Not Adding New Products

demp

Recommended Posts

I decided to start a new thread with a different title, as I am not having the original problem that I posted before, in hopes that someone could help. I am using version 2.76 of Easy Populate.

I downloaded a complete tab-del file of my products to edit. When I edit and upload, the changes take and are on my website. However, when I add new products to the file, they are not there after uploading, but I not getting an error message.

Anyone?

I have now tried to upload the sample output file that came with the version, and it is still only adding the first product. This is ridiculous!!!

I had the same thing, before uploading the new product save it as a new tab file with a dif. name. If you uploead the products under the same file name it doesn't add it for some reason. Try that!!!

After much searching and troubleshooting, I fixed the issue with the first product only being added. I am now using EP 2.9. I found the following fix on the oscmax forums posted by michael_S. It worked for me, so hopefully it will work for others with this issue.

Try this change in easypopulate.php:

FIND

array_walk($readed, 'walk');

REPLACE WITH

//array_walk($readed, 'walk');

foreach ($readed as $readed_record) {

walk($readed_record);

}
