If nothing has changed on your site, it might be that your server is down. You should contac your host.

Ok i've got my site back but have now hit another problem with it,about 90% of my items have now lost there pictures is there any quick way of fixing this or would i need to go through the full lot and re add them. The images are still in the database just not showing on the site

Try this:

Right click on the image that is supposed to be there to dtermine the path to it or simply get the path to it from your View>>Source

The copy and paste the url image path into your browser. See if this brings up your image. If the images are in fact in your images folder then I would think they should be appearing on your cart unless something got corrupted.

ok this is really doing my head in now when i go into the admin part of my site and goto file maneger images, there's along the top is user then group now i've always had the name toffees under user and group all the way down the page. Now for some reason these have now changed from toffees to nobody, now the files that are still listed under toffees are ok and showing but the images listed under the name of nobody the images fail to appear. So is there a quick way to get all these files listed under nobody back to toffees, just wondering if this will sort the site out for me asp.

Hopefully i've explained this in the best possiable way i can,all this website stuffs hard work for me with having no web site knowledge

It sounds like your host has some sort of failure and maybe reloaded your database with the wrong or corrupted data. This is just a guess of course, not seeing the shop, but if everything was working and you didn't change anything and now you are having all of these problems, something was changed. And that only leavs your host I think.
