workstation Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 How come when I set "Purchase without account" to True, the customer who chooses to go straight to checkout without opening an account, is still required to fill the personal info as if he's opening a new account? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! T.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! T. Tan, What personal information? They still need to enter their name, address, payment info, etc. Just not a user name and password. ed

I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Guest Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 If you get defrauded by downloadable goods, then it is only your bad security settings.If the customer pays at paypal then is given a link to download a file.If did not pay - do not get one.If your server it is setup right, then you do not get any problems.I have password protected every page the way that outside direct link will get 403.Outsdie link get accsess only to index page.
Guest Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Hey, I do not have downloadable products, I just made the point that if you have downloadable products you MAY not need the information. It was then suggested that having the info will prevent CC fraud.
