image upload/display problems

hi, i just installed oscommerce 2.2 on one of my sites but the images for products and categories are not showing, the only thing i can see relating to is is the below error that i have cut from my apache error log, - ive commented out the site name of course

 

 

[sat Jul 29 08:54:22 2006] [error] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] Directory index forbidden by rule: /home/httpd/vhosts/*********.***/httpdocs/oscommerce/catalog/images/, referer: http://www.********.***/oscommerce/catalog/

 

any ideas ?

Doouble check that yoru images folder has its permissions set to 777.

yes it is set to 777

did you ever find a reason for this? I have the same issue

You have a webserver configuration error. The httpd daemon does not have access to the directory.
