rosemary
Although we are free to drastically modify the Catalog modules of osC, I am wondering, within the Open Source and GNU lisencing guidelines, whether I may modify the Admin modules. For example, I would like to take out certain functionalities like the Newsletter, or Reviews. Or I would like to make modifications to functionalities I want to keep. I have read through the Copyright, Trademark, and the The GNU General Public License pages, but haven't seen any information about permissions to modify the Admin sections. Does anybody have any thoughts? Thanks for reading! Rose

Rose You can modify as you see fit except you need to leave the copyright lines in the source code intact and the copyright code that shows up in the admin footer intact as well. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
